In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Arusha.

Tarangire (pronounced as Taa-raa-nghee-reh) National Park is one of the few national parks in Tanzania, who flora and fauna have not been elaborately described to prospective guest, making the park being overlooked and skipped during the Tanzania’s northern circuit safaris.

Tarangire National Park has the highest number of elephants in the whole of the northern Tanzania parks, exceeding Lake Manyara and Serengeti. There have also been a 550 bird species recorded in the Tarangire National Park, making a sure pleaser for any bird lover.

Tarangire National Park displays a diverse number of wildlife namely: elephant, lesser and great kudu, African buffalo, cheetah, fringe-eared Oryx, leopard, lion, Masai giraffe, spotted hyena, common zebra, white-bearded wildebeest, warthog, eland, olive baboon, bat-eared fox, impala, common waterbuck, bushbuck, coke’s hartebeest, gerenuk, and bohor reedbuck.

If you are interested in the hot springs you are looking for a day of rejuvenation, relaxation and maybe some cultural enlightenment. Only an hour drive to Rundugai Village, outside of Moshi town, start this walking  in the village, crossing various farms, to see how crops are grown and participate in daily farm activities. Then walk through the village settlements and meet Pare weaving groups. Next stop, local market place and traditional bee keeping areas. Nature will provide your backdrop for the day, a serene view of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The tour ends in Maji Moto where you can Take the day enjoy the hot springs, have a picnic, and go swim in the stunning clear water. For people with more time it is possible to set up camp at Maji Moto for the night and have a barbeque under the stars.

The tour departs from Arusha town with lunch box from your hotel and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephant, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.
