From the Roof of Africa to the hidden wilds beyond. Welcome to Jackpot Mountain – your partner for the most iconic, soulful and spectacular trekking experiences in Tanzania. Whether you dream of standing atop Kilimanjaro or walking ancient trails through the Ngorongoro Highlands, we guide you off the beaten track – privately, professionally and with passion.
Why Climb with Jackpot Mountain? Because experience matters – and so does how you treat people. At Jackpot Mountain, you’re not just booking a route. You’re joining a team that climbs with heart, fairness and purpose.
We don’t just know the mountains – we’ve lived them. Andrew, founder of Jackpot, has stood on the summit of Kilimanjaro more than 50 times and knows Mount Meru like others know their backyard. But even he humbly admits: our mountain guides have topped that number many times over. And yet, we never measure success in summits alone – but in the quality of each journey.
At Jackpot, we follow the rules – and go beyond them. We are proud members of the Porters Society, committed to fair pay, proper working conditions and genuine respect for every porter, guide and crew member. Unlike some operators, we don’t cut corners. We pay above industry standards – because we believe that a great climb should be meaningful for everyone involved.
Whether you walk with us toward the Roof of Africa or along the sacred paths of Lengai, you’ll feel it: the care, the respect, the joy. Not just of reaching the top – but of climbing with people who love what they do, and are treated with the dignity they deserve.
- Real Experience: Andrew, our founder, has summited Kilimanjaro over 50 times. Our guides? Even more – and with a smile.
- Expert Teams: Certified mountain crews with years of guiding experience and a passion for what they do.
- Fair & Ethical: We’re members of the Porters Society and proud to pay above industry standard – no exploitation, no shortcuts.
- Private & Personal: No big groups, no rigid schedules. Just your path, your pace, your summit.
- Thoughtfully Curated Routes: From Kilimanjaro to Lengai – we don’t offer dozens of climbs. Only the ones that truly matter.
- Honest Advice & Full Support: From first contact to final descent, we guide you with clarity, care and commitment.
Essential doesn’t just apply to our safaris. It’s also the soul of every great climb: a clear path, the right support – and a summit worth chasing. Jackpot Mountain offers carefully selected trekking adventures across Tanzania: From Kilimanjaro’s legendary peak to the raw beauty of Mount Meru and the sacred slopes of Ol Doinyo Lengai. Privately guided. Logistically smooth. Emotionally rich. We don’t offer hundreds of routes – only the ones that matter. Trekking Adventures Across Tanzania
⛰ Mount Meru – The Wild Twin of Kilimanjaro

Tanzania’s second-highest mountain may be shorter than Kilimanjaro – but it’s wilder, more intimate, and breathtaking in its own right. The trek begins deep inside Arusha National Park, where giraffes, colobus monkeys and buffaloes roam beneath rainforest canopies. The route leads through mossy woodland to the dramatic crescent of Meru’s inner crater wall. And at dawn on summit day? Kilimanjaro rises above the clouds like a ghost on the horizon. Fewer crowds. More wildlife. Just as unforgettable.

Ol Doinyo Lengai – The Sacred Mountain of the Maasai

Rising in solitude above the Rift Valley floor, Ol Doinyo Lengai – “The Mountain of God” – is both a geological wonder and a spiritual icon. The night ascent is steep and silent. But as the sun breaks the horizon, surreal lava ridges and the flamingo-stained waters of Lake Natron appear below. The only active carbonatite volcano on Earth, Lengai is raw, strange, and otherworldly. It’s not for everyone – but those who climb it never forget it.
