Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1 – Arusha: A Soft Landing

You arrive in Tanzania – and immediately feel its rhythm. Your guide welcomes you at the airport and takes you to a quiet lodge just outside the city. A place to rest, breathe, and begin.

• Drive: Kilimanjaro Airport (1 hr) or Arusha Airport (15 min)
• Highlight: Welcome drink & personal safari briefing
• Lodge: Pazuri-Inn Lodge, full board

Day 2 – Tarangire: Giants, Dust & Baobabs

After early breakfast, you head to Tarangire National Park – a land of ancient trees, whispering grasses, and slow-moving elephant herds. Picnic under acacias, explore the golden dust, then continue to your riverside camp.

• Drive: Arusha → Tarangire (approx. 2 hrs), game drive inside park
• Park: Tarangire National Park
• Highlight: Game drive, picnic lunch
• Lodge: Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, full board

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater: Into the Caldera of Life

Today, you descend into a world like no other. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to all of Africa’s Big Five – lions, buffalo, elephants, even rhinos. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, return to Arusha in the afternoon.

• Drive: Tarangire → Ngorongoro → Arusha (approx. 9 hrs incl. game drive)
• Park: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater
• Highlight: 6-hour crater safari & picnic lunch on the crater floor
• Lodge: Optional extension or transfer to airport
