Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1 – Arusha: A Gentle Start

Arrival in Tanzania. Your guide greets you at the airport and takes you to a peaceful lodge on the city’s edge. Time to breathe, rest, and begin your journey slowly.

• Drive: Kilimanjaro Airport (1 hr) or Arusha Airport (15 min)
• Highlight: Welcome drink & personal safari briefing
• Lodge: Pazuri-Inn Lodge, full board

Day 2 – Tarangire: Elephants in the Dust

Early departure to Tarangire National Park. The land of giants awaits: vast herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees and sweeping savannahs. Game drive, picnic in the bush, and overnight near the riverbanks.

• Drive: Arusha → Tarangire (approx. 2 hrs), game drive inside park
• Park: Tarangire National Park
• Highlight: Game drive, picnic lunch
• Lodge: Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, full board

Day 3 – Lake Manyara: Birds, Lakes & Culture

After breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled between escarpment and lake. Known for its tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife. In the afternoon: cultural encounter at a traditional Maasai village.

• Drive: Tarangire → Lake Manyara (1.5 hrs), game drive and village visit
• Park: Lake Manyara National Park
• Highlight: Game drive & visit to a Maasai village in Mto wa Mbu
• Lodge: Manyara Safari Lodge, full board

Day 4 – Ngorongoro: Into the Crater of Life

A true finale. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheatre teeming with wildlife. From lions to rhinos, this is where nature performs on its grandest stage. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

• Drive: Manyara → Ngorongoro → Arusha (approx. 8–9 hrs incl. game drive)
• Park: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater
• Highlight: 6-hour crater safari & picnic lunch on the crater floor
• Lodge: Optional extension or transfer to airport
