Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1 – Arusha: Arrival & Acclimatisation

A warm welcome awaits you at the airport. After the short drive to your lodge, you’ll settle in with a refreshment and personal safari briefing. The rhythm of Africa begins here.

• Drive: Kilimanjaro International Airport (1 hr) or Arusha Domestic Airport (15 min)

Day 2 – Tarangire: Where Giants Roam

Into the land of elephants and baobabs. Tarangire National Park welcomes you with its wild beauty and golden light. A full day of game drives ends with a sunset to remember.

• Drive: Arusha → Tarangire (approx. 2 hrs), game drive inside park
• Park: Tarangire National Park
• Highlight: Game drive & picnic lunch under acacias
• Lodge: Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp, full board

Day 3 – Lake Manyara & Mto wa Mbu: Culture & Contrast

After breakfast, you continue to Lake Manyara – lush, green, and full of surprises. In the afternoon, explore Mto wa Mbu, a melting pot of Tanzanian cultures. Optionally, visit a traditional Maasai village nearby.

• Drive: Tarangire → Lake Manyara (approx. 1.5 hrs), then to lodge
• Park: Lake Manyara National Park

Day 4 – Into the Serengeti: The Great Open

One of the world’s most iconic drives. From the Rift Valley up to the Ngorongoro Highlands and into the boundless Serengeti National Park. Wildlife already greets you en route.

• Drive: Lake Manyara → Serengeti via Ngorongoro (approx. 6 hrs incl. game drive & picnic)
• Park: Serengeti National Park
• Highlight: Scenic transfer with game drive en route
• Lodge: Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp, full board

Day 5 – Serengeti: Full-Day Game Drive

A full day to follow instincts. Your guide reads the tracks. You follow the stories – of predators and prey, of survival and grace. Nothing here is staged. Everything is real.

• Park: Serengeti National Park
• Highlight: Picnic lunch in the bush, endless discoveries

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater: Return to Arusha

One last wonder. Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater – a world within a world. Six hours of intense wildlife await. Afterwards, return to Arusha with full hearts.

• Drive: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha (approx. 9 hrs incl. game drive)
• Park: Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater
• Highlight: 6-hour crater safari & picnic on the crater floor
• Lodge: Optional extension or transfer to airport
