Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1 – Arusha: Arrival & Acclimatisation

Touch down in Tanzania. Your guide greets you at the airport and takes you to your lodge. A welcome drink, a gentle breeze and your first briefing – the journey begins.

Day 2 – Tarangire: Land of Giants

• Today you enter elephant country. Tarangire National Park welcomes you with vast vistas, wandering herds and ancient baobab trees. A golden sundowner rounds off your first game drive.

• Park: Tarangire National Park
• Highlight: Afternoon safari & sunset magic

Day 3 – Manyara: Green Paradise & Community Encounters

Explore the lush Lake Manyara ecosystem in the morning, where baboons roam and birds dazzle. In the afternoon, meet the Maasai or visit Mto wa Mbu for an authentic village glimpse.

Day 4 – Serengeti: Into the Great Unknown

The road rises and the horizon stretches. Pass the Ngorongoro highlands on your way into the fabled Serengeti National Park. Game drive en route to your tented camp in the heart of it all.

Day 5 – Serengeti: Full-Day Game Drive

Wake with the sun and follow the rhythm of the wild. Whether it’s a leopard in a tree or a thousand wildebeest on the move – this is where safari dreams come true.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Highlands: Descent into Silence

Leave the plains and head towards the crater rim. The air grows cooler, the views wider. Sleep surrounded by coffee fields, not far from ancient volcanic soil.

Day 7 – Lake Eyasi: Bushmen & Blacksmiths

Early morning, meet the Hadzabe – one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. After a traditional hunting walk, visit the Datoga blacksmiths in the afternoon. Real lives, real stories.

Day 8 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

Before departure, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for an epic six-hour game drive. A natural amphitheatre, rich in wildlife and story. Later, return to Arusha for your onward journey.
